Alright, so those who I've spoken to recently (and those who haven't re-added me to MSN or AIM, you effing suck) know that that 'kickemass' cold I had was actually swine flu. Not that I'm complaining, but it did last a month so I DO encourage all my watchers to get the vaccine if you're able as soon as possible. It's only a normal flu if you've already got a great immune system, but if you've got an underlying condition (my flu hit me worst in my mouth due to the condition of my teeth, and I was rewarded for not being able to get them out yet with a nice sand dollar sized abscess in my upper jaw XD. It still hurts despite the fact that it's now the size of a rather small blueberry, but it's manageable. At least I've got that xD) you're in for a big surprise. Asthmatics get the worst of it, too- even with my very very minor asthma (that's usually only triggered when I'm scared witless or I run a mile) I've been coughing stuff up for a month. So, sick people, before you get it, get vaccinated. :3. Especially if you're around smaller people or older people a lot. XD. If you get it done at the doctor's office, your health insurance WILL cover it. And I've been told that it only hurts for a couple days. XD.


NOW I didn't just start writing to warn everyone about H1N1 and all the above crap you already know (it's more a plea cause I don't want anyone getting sick). That would be lame of me.


SO I've been unable to draw for a while and whatever pictures I do put out are totally out of proportion. Horses look like Shetland Ponies with draught heads and I won't even go into how my people have been looking, even with an insane amount of practise. XD So yeah, I'm going on a forced hiatus until my hands are more sure and my brain not so foggy.

On the flipside of things online (mostly Neopets), I'm now over 450k/800k in my quest for a lab map. After that, I'll be saving for a royal Paintbrush. It actually feels good to be working towards something intangible when I can't focus on the corporeal things all that well.

All in all, I'm trying to be optimistic about all aspects of my life- it's really working and I can already feel the difference. I haven't taken any St. John's Wort in a while, either, and my mood hasn't changed. Yeah, I do have downtimes but it's nowhere near what it used to be.

Like... on the first of the month, Bree, my younger sister, actually took communion for the first time in almost eight years. Now, I know non-Christians are going "Oh, great. Another Bible-thumping moron is born!" but you know what? You have no idea what you're missing. If you've had bad experiences with Christians before (a lot of the Christian population comes across as Holier-Than-Thou and highly irritating), I'm sorry. You just need a better group of people to meet. The rest of us are completely normal, sane, fun-loving people who don't want to preach about end-day prophecies. xD.

I should be feeling better soon, though. I'm now allergic to penicillin (imagine that!) so I'll be getting a different sort of antibiotic to get rid of this abscess. I imagine it's been rather counterproductive to be allergic to something you're trying to use to get better, only to break out into hives (did you know they're called wheals? XD) every time you take it. O-o.


...It's been an odd month. XD. I've also discovered that I cannot play Freaky Factory to save my life. ^_^
