Okay, so he's not really rolling in the mud... but it DOES kinda look like it XD

ANYWHO It's been a while since I've drawn Mr. Serious up there. It feels like it's been a while since I've drawn... well... anything O-o. Guess I haven't had the inspiration to x-x This picture's entirely OOC as poor Sorrov wouldn't be caught dead rolling anywhere XD I just needed to draw O-o

Went back to ~theclumsycorvid's method of painting on this one but I used the smudge tool. XD. I couldn't get the smoothness I wanted cause I'm so stressed out right now that EVERYTHING is on full pressure 8DD (Snow + -5 w/o wind chill temperatures = Major stress.) I do, admittedly, kinda like how this turned out- but it might be more my being proud I got off my lazy ass and drew this handsome boy xD. I do love his 'wut' look XD

Beautiful pose- and I love the way you shade :3 The details of the main look great too.
And I know what you mean, you always need a break from drawing every now and then. :)

Thank you :3 It's not really a break so much as an inspirational plateau- I'm constantly drawing/reading/writing so this block of doing absolutely nothing is driving me *batty* xD

I must say I really like this style of painting for your art. :) The pose is indeed very nice, it's always amusing to see horses rolling about. xD
I don't know why some people dislike the smudge tool so much when painting. Gentle smudging can look reall nice!

Personally I really like this coloring method!!! =D It's really gorgeous overall actually, I love the hair and fur/feathering on the legs xD And the anatomy is amazing too!

=3 Thankies. I still think I overdid the smudge a little... xD There's certain areas I'm looking at now that make me wish I hadn't discarded the layers XD.
